What is the dress code for the events?

For the Welcome Party, it will be cocktail attire (tie not required).


For the Wedding, the attire is Black Tie. We can't wait to see everyone dressed their best!

Where will the events be taking place in Chicago?

The Welcome Party will be hosted at Morgan's on Fulton in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago. The West Loop is known for its amazing food scene, vibrant night life, and historic architecture.


The Wedding will be hosted at the Chicago History Museum in Lincoln Park. The museum is located at the southernmost part of the park making Lincoln Park, Old Town, and Gold Coast all convenient neighborhoods to stay and visit.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Yes, please see the Travel section of our website. We recommend looking into the location of the hotel you will be choosing in relation to the location of the events.

Will transportation be provided to the events?

No, we do not have organized transportation for everyone. We recommend using Uber/Lyft to get around the city. Please keep in mind that downtown Chicago can experience heavy traffic.

Can I bring kids or a plus one?

This is an adults-only event (21+) and we are only able to accomodate guests listed on the invitation.

What will the weather be like?

September is one of the best times to visit Chicago. Typically, the weather is in the 70s during this time of year. We would recommend checking the weather beforehand.


Our ceremony will be outside, so please plan accordingly.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Please include this in your response. We will have options that accomodate any restrictions. Please reach out to Brian or Gaynor directly if you have any specific questions or concerns.

Will there be parking at the events?

Yes, but parking will be limited at both events. We encourage everyone to use Uber/Lyft or a Taxi from your hotel to get to each event.
